"Mind Your Head"

This work represents our society—a place where we live crammed together, sometimes forgetting to smile at one another, standing either too far apart or so close that it becomes a bother. We struggle to tolerate each other, yet at the same time, we intrigue and inspire.

Lost in thought and music on a crowded London subway, I asked myself: Are we a symbiosis? An unconsciously choreographed mass, moving in sync? Or are we simply a chaotic, yet beautiful mess?
The figures in this painting embody that question. Every day, we navigate through each other’s lives, braving traffic, trudging through the concrete jungle, each on our own path toward our own goals.
As I stepped off the train, I noticed the iconic London Tube warning: "Mind Your Head." It perfectly captured my wandering thoughts, and so, it became the title of this painting.
